NWTPA Rules For Super Farm Tractors

The following rules are a work in progress. For 2004, if you bring it and it appears to be safe, we will let you pull.

1. Weight classes will be refined in 2005 to accomodate tractors as they are built.

2. Tractors of any age welcome.

3. Engine must be same make as tractor, with same number of cylinders as issued by factory.

4. Engine must be mounted in a safe manner.

5. No RPM limit.

6. No more than one turbo, model 3LM or T04.

7. No injection of alcohol, nitrous or water allowed..

8. Custom intake and exhaust manifolds are allowed.

9. No tire size limit, but no dual wheels.

10. LPG, Gas, Diesel and alcohol fuels allowed..

11. No track speed limit. 5 mph max. off track.

12. Wheelie bars required.

13. Side shields required, not less than 1/8" thick, covering from bottom of block up to cylinder head. .

14. Clutch protection required, of any reasonable configuration.

15. Kill switch recommended, but not required.

16. Helmet is recommended, but not required. Send Any suggestions for rule additions or changes to Steve Kenitz.
